Rudi khola "B"

The Rudi Khola-B Small Hydropower project is a run-of-river project situated just upstream of the planned Rudi-A Small Hydropower Project. It is developed by Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Pvt. Ltd. This project has a 6.6 MW capacity, utilizing a net head of 299.81 meters and a design discharge of 2.55 m³/sec at Q40%.The main components of the Rudi-B project are located in Lamjung district at Pasgaun VDC. Rudi Khola serves as the border between Lamjung and Kaski districts, with the opposite side of the river situated in Mijuredanda VDC of Kaski district. The project area's geographical coordinates range from longitudes 84o11'00” to 84o13’00” and latitudes 28o16’20” to 28o17’50”.The catchment area of Rudi, including Ligur Khola from the right bank, is 35.3 square meters above the collection intakes. This project marks an important development in the region's hydropower landscape.
